Some people’s life stories are so extraordinary they are borderline unbelievable, which is precisely the case of Dr. Hal Bradley. His life story is so captivating that it is surprising it hasn’t been optioned for a movie yet. How can one man’s life be worthy of such awe and admiration? You must first understand a bit about him to appreciate how fascinating this story truly is.

Dr. Bradley starts the story in his youth, where he is first introduced to the Mexican drug cartels, a catalyst which will define his life. Moving up through the cartel’s ranks and eventually going into business for himself in the drug-running game would be an incredible story by itself, but it is just the beginning. After reconciling with the error of his ways, Dr. Bradley spent some time working for the government and even found his true calling through his continued on-and-off involvement in drug smuggling. His story comes to a climactic ending that you would expect from a TV series, not someone’s real-life story, but that’s all the more reason to read this book.

Dr. Bradley’s writing style is compelling, to say the least. At many points in the book, you feel as if he is sitting across from you, telling you his life story over a cup of coffee. You get sucked so far into the story that you almost feel a sense of danger around you just by reliving his life. You will need to pull yourself out of the pages because at no point does it feel like a good place to stop in this story. There is not a dull page in this book, as it is inspirational, entertaining, and educational throughout.

It would have been an absolute travesty if Dr. Bradley never got a chance to tell his story, so it is a blessing it made it onto the pages. While it would be fair to assume that Dr. Bradley doesn’t have another life story in the works, it wouldn’t be surprising if he had more stories to tell from his intriguing life. If this is his final book, it was a gift to the world and something which everyone should take time to read. It also wouldn’t surprise me if this story were in the works for a series or movie deal following the life of one of the most interesting men alive. If not, we will just have to be happy to share this intimate, scary, and exhilarating part of Dr. Bradley’s life in A Fox In the Lion’s Den: A Fictionalized and Fact-Based Autobiography of the Life of Dr. Hal A. Bradley, DD. (Crisis Victory).
