Through the Eyes of a Single Mother

Miesha Weaver, is a native of Houston, TX. She is a single mother of twin daughters and a son whom she has worked hard for to give them a childhood better than the one she had growing up. Miesha has a tenured career in the oil and gas industry, she’s a small business owner, sports mom and has a passion for encouraging single mothers of all backgrounds.  She details her journey of motherhood not as a disability but rather a super-ability. Single moms are the best at multi-tasking but many times their own dreams, passions, and desires are placed on hold to ensure their children succeed in life. She credits her strength and perseverance to her Lord and personal savior, Jesus Christ for without him she wouldn’t be the woman she is today. She wants to encourage single mothers not to lose their identity in this journey of motherhood and to never settle for less in any aspect of their life.  Single mothers are beating the odds every day; we are business owners, homeowners, have multiple streams of income, and educated all while taking care of home.
