Charlie Henson has handled teenagers before, but she cannot know what she's getting into when her police officer friend asks her to look after fifteen-year old Peggy. Peggy's arrival in her world brings her into contact with Maine's underworld, and with her own past. All the mystery and excitement one expects from the Keeper series, with a deeper look at Charlie's inner life.
